Who we are

In 1979, the long-established Japanese family enterprise Nakagawa Corporation founded the European subsidiary Nakagawa GmbH in the heart of the ‘gold town’ of Pforzheim, Germany. Nakagawa Corporation is headquartered in Tokyo.

Specialising in chains, we have been producing high-quality chains and accessories in a wide range of alloys for more than 70 years.

We, the Pforzheim-based Nakagawa GmbH, have maintained business relationships with companies from Pforzheim, Germany and Europe for more than 40 years.

In 2020, we moved to new premises in Keltern, about 8 km away from the ‘gold town’ of Pforzheim.

Reliability and high quality have always been and will remain our top priority.

Member of Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)
Code of Practices and Chain of Custody certified

We have obtained COP (Code of Practices) certification from RJC. This is a benchmark standard for the jewellery supply chain and addresses a wide range of supply chain issues, including business ethics, human rights, social and environmental performance. It is an honour for us and we will perform this work in a responsible manner.
